    We respect your privacy. Any and all information collected from you at this site is only that required by us and/or our Partners in order to provide you with the Home Information Pack you have requested. Except as provided in this Privacy Policy, we do not supply your Personal Information to any other person unless you have expressly authorised us to do so. By registering to use the Services and by using the Hiphomes Site generally you will be deemed to consent to our use of your Personal Information in the ways indicated.

  • Personal information
    Hiphomes ( United Kingdom) is a limited company incorporated in England and is registered under the Data Protection Act 1998. All Personal Information you supply will be treated in accordance with that Act. Hiphomes will not pass on your Personal Information to any other person except when we believe the law requires or as set out in this Privacy Policy. To this end, Hiphomes may pass your information to our Partners and agents authorised to act for and on behalf of Hiphomes in preparation of the pack.

    To instruct a Hiphomes firm to act on your behalf in preparing a Home Information Pack we will require various details from you which are set out in the Create a HIP form (accessible via the Estate Agents and Conveyancers Main Page). We may contact you using the information provided for the purposes of monitoring the quality of Hiphomes partner firms. Your details will not be given or sold to anyone else outside the Hiphomes network. On instructing us to prepare a Home Information Pack, details of your HIP will be posted on our web site for access by yourself and the Hiphomes Partners and agents involved in preparing the pack. The information will be password protected and the password will be encrypted. The information will be viewable on-line only by yourself and the professionals described above.

    Once a HIP is completed both the HIP and constituent survey (Energy Performance Certificate and/or Home Condition report) are a matter of public record as described in The Housing Act 2004 and Home Information Pack Regulations 2006. The completed HIP is therefore accessible to the general public via the Estate Agent both in hard copy format and via the Hiphomes website. Again the online version of the completed HIP is password protected and encrypted, access only being granted via the Estate Agent with an appropriate Authorisation Code. The survey of the completed HIP is also held on the Government Central Register.

  • General information
    In general, we gather data about all of our Users and Clients collectively, such as what areas and services Users visit most frequently. We only use such data in the aggregate. We may record and share non-personal aggregated data with our Partners and agents in order to determine what is most beneficial for our Users, and how we can continually improve the Hiphomes User experience.

  • Feedback
    Please submit any feedback to Hiphomes by using the Contact Us link at the bottom of each web page or use the appropriate messaging facility if you are a client or professional user. Feedback is used primarily for internal purposes to aid us in improving the site and the Hiphomes proposition. Any feedback submitted becomes the property of Hiphomes. We may use this feedback, such as success stories, for marketing purposes, or to contact you for further feedback on the site / proposition. We will seek your written or email approval should we want to use your personal success story for marketing purposes.
