Why a “Hiphomes” HIP?
Our HIPs take the stress out of the transaction by
- Clarity - of information
- Solutions - to problems
- Communication - throughout the end to end process.
Whilst HIP providers will meet the statutory requirements, we go further.
In effect we transform detailed, jargon laden property information by adding an interpretative Summary to the front of our each and every HIP.
Our summary is unique. It can be read, understood and acted upon by the Seller and Buyer without the need for specialist interpretation. We save time and money through speedier communication and decision making.
We communicate - in plain English - the key factors an interested Buyer really needs to know when deciding to buy a property.
In addition our unique summary provides guidance on solutions and possible ‘next steps’ for both Seller and Buyer to speed up the transaction.
It is important to note these are our suggestions – intended to help both parties agree the terms of sale. There will still be a requirement for any Buyer purchasing a property to have the HIP checked by their Conveyancer. But, all parties are better informed more certain more able to make the right decisions immediately the HIP is available - a faster sale and completion for Seller and Buyer – our HIPs sell houses!
The Hiphomes Code of Practice
Hiphomes provide high quality, user-friendly HIPs to the residential property market. A unique Summary accompanies each pack and is designed to interpret the key detail information and to make recommendations to help the reader – consumer and professional alike.
We will make recommendations for solutions and next steps should any legal or structural issues be found on the subject property. These opinions are made in good faith and designed to help by offering practical advice and guidance. However our summary does not remove the need for the buyer to seek independent advice on the contents of the HIP.
Our policy is to offer most helpful options available to both parties. Our professional staff are very happy to listen to other options to speed up the sale and we shall always be willing to pass these through to the seller
